What is Art to Remember?

Art to Remember is one of Highland View’s most popular and beloved fundraisers. Through the end of October, your children work with their art teacher, Ms. Gearin, to create beautiful paintings in vibrant colors and stunning, energetic designs. Once the artwork is finished, you will receive personalized order forms and have the option to purchase products featuring your child’s beautiful art!

What type of products will I be able to purchase?

Over 40 items are available, including refrigerator magnets, note cards, cutting boards, bags, lunch totes, art clings, coasters, bookmarks, a pendant necklace, bracelet, magnetic jewelry insert, a water bottle, an art plaque, mirror, metal key chain, a placemat and more! Please see the display case in the Highland View lobby to view samples in person.

Why order Art to Remember?

By ordering Art to Remember products, you are keeping your child’s art “alive” to enjoy for decades to come! The products are lovely keepsakes and make wonderful holiday and birthday gifts. Highland View receives a generous 30-33 percent of the profits from our school’s art orders. The funds raised are used for important school programs including the cultural arts assemblies, field trips, teacher recognition, and the geography bee. Last year, Highland View raised over $2800 from the Art to Remember fundraiser!

How do I order products?

Personalized order forms go home with your child on Thursday, November 14th! Once you review the form, you may place your orders online on the Art to Remember website at https://order.arttoremember.com. You'll need the ID number from your order form to enter online.

Additionally, we will accept orders brought into the school with cash or check payment (made out to Highland View PTA).

When is the deadline to place orders?

You have about a week to place your orders as they are due no later than Monday, November 25th (right before Thanksgiving break). We will be sending out reminders several times ahead of the deadline! We expect the products to be delivered to students around December 18th.

I can't find my child's order form or art ID number. Can I still make an order?

Absolutely! Just email one of the Highland View Art to Remember coordinators (see contact information below). Make sure you include your child's name and teacher and we'll email the ID number back to you. You can use that ID to make an order online. If you can't order online, we can also arrange to get you a replacement order form.

Can siblings or family member submit artwork for Art to Remember?

Yes! We have a limited supply of specially provided paper from the company. Contact our Art to Remember coordinators (see below) to make arrangements. We’ll also supply guidelines for creating the artwork. The artwork must be returned to the coordinators no later than Monday, November 25, 2019.

Can family members or friends order products with my child's art?

No problem! Feel free to give anyone you like the Art to Remember website (https://order.arttoremember.com), just make sure they have your child's art ID number. That way they can make orders with your child's art as well.

Can I get the products earlier than December 18th?

Yes! If you want to get products faster, you can (1) order online, (2) select ship directly to home and (3) pay extra for shipping (estimated around $13). It still takes about 2 weeks plus a few days for shipping to receive the products. However, if you order products as soon as you get the order form (November 14th), you could get the products in early December.

Can I order products from a prior school year?

Yes you can! If you previously made an order online, you can order products with artwork from any prior year! If you don't see the artwork to select when you're making your order, email Art to Remember directly with your child's name, the year in question (i.e. 2016-2017), and his or her teacher's name for that year. They will make every effort to locate the correct ID number for you. Once you have that number, you can make new orders! Sorry, you can only order products from prior year artwork online.
